The thing that really inspires me about freestylin' is the way a rider does his riding.
Iv'e seen thousands of riders and I know that a persons character comes out in their riding, it's called STYLE.
I've seen people that can do every hard and involved trick , but looks boring because they got no style .
Iv'e seen those riders that don't have a bag full of tricks but are so fun to watch because of their style.
Style can't be bought your born with it!

The ramp shows have been growing for many years now, got two teams on the road !

Going to be making Drastic changes for 2012 !

These changes will be big and solve a lot of issues that have been ongoing and destroy an issue that is been festering like a rash.

Been on the road a lot lately.
Booking shows has been going better than I could expect. 2011 will be busy.

2010 is not over yet. I will be doing shows in Colorado in december and Texas in January !

We just finished up the Nature Valley Grand Prix. It was a five day traveling tour . it was our third year .

Bicycle stuntman to return to Starbuck Bike Rodeo on SaturdayBy Chad KoenenWith over 3,000 shows in more than 20 years, Rich Wieber is a seasoned bicycle stunt man. After holding performances at a variety of school's throughout the country, as well as a number of professional sporting events, Wieber will be bringing his bicycle stunt show to the Starbuck Bike Rodeo for the second consecutive year. Set for Saturday morning, the annual bike rodeo will kick off at 10 a.m. at Minnewaska West (former Starbuck Elementary). Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. While Wieber will be headlining the event, children in grades K-6 will once again have an opportunity to maneuver their way through the obstacle course set up at Minnewaska West and get some tips on how to be safe on a bike. Once every child completed the obstacle course, bike rodeo participants will ride their bikes through town to the Starbuck VFW for the remainder of the days events. In addition to hosting a free lunch with a variety of door prizes, including a grand prize of two new bicycles, the Starbuck VFW will host the bicycle stunt show. The stunt show, which also features a message about the importance of remaining drug free, will be held at the Starbuck VFW parking lot.

Just got in from 6 days in PA. The weather was perfect and the shows were great!

I met a lot of nice people and I had the best time touring in PA , the last two times I toured PA. was not nearly as good as this time.

I am 5 books in to his work and I must say that it is just amazing!
They are short and an easy read.
And all in paperback so there cheap!

Cross country one week tour

Just got back sunday night from a 7 day tour . from MN. to Virginia Beach and back to MN.
Did lots of good shows. Got in newspapers in IL. WV. and VA.
Went to the White House and Lincoln Memorial , (my second time) and stayed in a suite on the eighth floor on the beach.

Watched the sun rise from the atlantic during my breakfast !

Awesome trip!!

Starting today , (Feb. 8th , 2010) I begin a stretch of 8 shows in 5 days, (actually 4 days cause one is all travel)
I will leave home in about an hour 5:30 am and will not get back until feb. 14th .

My last shows are on friday in the state of Virginia.

Next week I will be in Denver , CO. and the week after that I will end in St. Louis, MO.

Yesterday was a good day with a couple of school shows in SW Wisconsin.

Today was the St. Paul Winter carnival Torch-lite parade.

it was abought 5 degrees and my front brake cable actually froze up 3/4 of the way threw!

A new client I am working with paid me well to do these last two parades. They have one more lined up for June. This is all a build up to the week long tour of shows I will be doing with my team in mid june .

More shows on Monday here in Minnesota ...

I hate parades ! Always have , always will . Yet I still do them , for the money. Call me a sellout , I dont care.
I like school shows because of the kids and the influence I may have on them in a positive way.
I like the shows I do with the ramps and my team. It is just rad to rip it up in front of crowds with my team !

But parades , they are lame !

I call parades the "blue collar " work. It is a constant show every 20 feet. People always yell things , like = Do a trick , Do a flip , I can do that or like yesterday , "aint you to old to be on that little bike ?"
I like to give a lot when I do trix for people , but in a parade I need a minute to catch my breath .
People just dont care.
I will continue to do parades ( I have 3 more booked this year) But ,
I DON'T HAVE TO LIKE THEM.

oh and by the way , it did rain on my parade yesterday ... still did it and got paid .

Saint Paul Winter carnival

Today is an event in Saint Paul and it will be quite the challenge.

If I did not get paid good I would of not booked this.

Wisconsin death trip

That may be a name for an album by the rock band Static X but to me and my friends it has been a term we hae used since 1998' .

It is what we call the road from Minniapolis MN. heading east all the way to illinois = HWY. 94 , if you will.

This run is always so long and boring. I have done it at least 100 times.

Last night I left Racine WI. and headed on the death trip to home after three shows.
It should of took about 6 and a half hours.

Once I hit The Dells , it was raining/sleeting, Not good when it is below 32 degrees. I seen 4 cars in the ditch upside down or on their sides , a jackknifed semi and numerous cars in the ditch. One car came up on my rear and hit the breaks and did a 180 behind me into the ditch. I was lucky.

All the semi trucks ( the ruler of the roads) were doing less than 40 miles per hour from the Dells to Eau Claire !! it was glare Ice and I was lucky to make it threw safely
it took me hours longer than expected .
I got home safely at 3:35 AM.

I have two shows in Iowa on Friday the 18th and that will be it for 2009.
Overall , it has been a good year for shows.
I have had worse , by far.
The addition of the new website and the new school show promo piece was by far the biggest and best tool to date for school show marketing!!
I have Mr. Tate to thank for that!
it looks to be a busy jan-june for schools. It really is all up to me and my effort.

in , MO. IL. IA. NE. MN. WI. and it was a LOT of driving. but I love it .

Wisconsin / Michigan Shows

I spent the last two days doing shows in Wisconsin and Michigan .
The three WI. shows were good, but one show down near Lacrosse had one of the most slippery floors of all time , at least top twenty!
The michigan show was real good and I got on the front page of their paper.

While doing the WI. shows you better believe I thanked each show for the gift of Brett Favre ! lol lol ...

HEALTH

I have been following a very strict meal plan since the first week of January 2009. This past week I have slipped and ate whatever I wanted. Before this last week I was eating every 2-3 hours and not eating any processed foods or sugar (other than natural sugar from fruits).
The last week I have been very lethargic and tired and un motivated in every way.

I believe that it is the intake of non natural and processed foods that are loaded with sugar and fructose corn syrup.

Yesterday I returned to my strict diet and am feeling a tad bit better this morning.

I plant to stay back on this way of life and not return to the fake foods.

Much discipline is needed. But it is WELL WORTH IT !

after my last show yesterday, I went to walmart to get a few things. one thing I needed was an air freshner for the vehicle, the little tree kind. as I was in the auto department I walked past the car stereo display and it was blaring loud and it had a commercial playing about my show on saturday. my name blaring on the radio at Walmart in illinois... crazy...
